IMPORTANT NOTICE
Phase 2 of the Carlsbad Beach Stairs and Sidewalk Improvements
will continue along Carlsbad Boulevard between Pine and Tamarack avenues.
Construction is scheduled from September 2026 through May 2027.
Work will take place Monday through Friday, except city holidays,
from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction within the work area.
Portions of the upper sidewalk will also be closed during construction.
Construction equipment and signage will be visible throughout the area.
The project focuses on beach stair replacement and sidewalk widening
to support safe, durable, and accessible coastal infrastructure.
